Investor Funding Secured

This week we onboarded our second investor to fund the renovation works for project one.

Raising private finance has been one of the biggest learning curves for us in property.

And to say we now have two investors on board with a full renovation funded is something we’re genuinely proud of.

At the start, nobody knows who you are. You have no track record, no case studies and no completed projects.

Over time, that changes.

People start seeing consistency, progress and successful projects.

What we’ve learnt is: Once you start sharing your story properly, people naturally begin backing the vision.

Why We Share The Journey

What we found when getting into property is that a lot of people sharing online are usually trying to sell you something.

“No money down” deals.
“Get rich quick” courses.
Overnight success stories.

I bought into it a lot of it myself.

But our experience is nothing like that.

Its hard work.
Its constant problem solving.
Its rejection from investors.
Its refurb budgets going 20% over.
Its a small crack turning into rebuilding an entire front elevation.
Its juggling building a property business alongside a full time job because property isn’t immediate cashflow.

Thats the side of property investing we want to share.

The honest side.
The stressful side.
The side people normally leave out.

Project One - Officially Moving

Most people see the project start when the walls start coming down, but the reality is a lot of work as an investor happens before the team step on site.

This week we collected the keys and met the team on site to finalise the schedule of works.

This is where the project really starts:
- Pricing labour
- Scheduling trades
- Ordering materials
- Finalising plans

Before the first skip is ordered, weeks of planning have already gone into making the project work.

Now its time to bring the plans to life.

Whats Next?

With project one now fully funded and ready to start, the focus now shifts to getting the refurb underway.

In the meantime, I’ll be:
- Attending networking events weekly
- Building our social media presence
- Growing our investor network

The main goal is to raise the funds to refurb project two.

That allows us to free up our funds to purchase project three and go again.

It means we can continue building the business while also creating more opportunities for investors.

Leaving your money in the bank right now is likely earning you less than inflation, meaning your cash is actually losing value over time.
